Nashville, Tenn. (October 25, 2017) — On Saturday night, October 21, at Texas A&M University’s Reed Arena, the Gatlin Brothers joined five former U.S. Presidents for an all-American concert event benefiting those affected by the recent hurricanes.
Presidents Jimmy Carter, George H. W. Bush, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, and Barack Obama were all in attendance for the “Deep From the Heart: The One America Appeal” hurricane relief concert. The evening featured performances by the Gatlins, Alabama, Lee Greenwood, Sam Moore, Lyle Lovett, Robert Earl Keen, Yolanda Adams, Cassadee Pope, Stephanie Quayle, and a surprise appearance by Lady Gaga.
The concert raised $2.6 million for storm victims in Texas, Florida, and Puerto Rico.
